Skeptical Optimist

Diogo Batáguas presents his 4th solo stand-up show, a performance built from his particular way of looking at the future: with hope, but also with considerable skepticism. Between what may go well and the possibility that everything may go down the drain, the humor arises precisely from that ambivalence.

In "Optimista Céptico", the comedian imagines the coming years for the children and the animals he has at home, in a style that combines observation, irony, and a confidence that is always unstable that, in the end, this may even work out.
