Pat Thomas, Seymour Wright, Antonin Gerbal and Joel Grip come together to reactivate the legacy of Ahmed Abdul-Malik through a contemporary reading of his repertoire and his musical vision. The quartet works with improvisation, repetition and rhythmic development to build a jazz concert with strong energy and a dance-friendly spirit, designed for the outdoor courtyard of gnration.
