Small Temporary Libraries

Around the performances for schools and families, the theatre also gains a small temporary library. Before and after the sessions, the audience can find at Rivoli or Campo Alegre a selection of books linked to the universe of each performance, designed to extend the experience with family, with classmates, or alone.

The initiative comes from the collaboration with the Biblioteca Municipal Almeida Garrett and accompanies the programme of the Teatro Municipal do Porto across several dates. The idea is simple: to offer a place to arrive earlier, stay after the session, and continue the conversation through books.
