Phia Ménard / Compagnie Non Nova Nocturne (Parade)

In *Nocturne (Parade) [Noturno (Desfile)]*, Phia Ménard and Compagnie Non Nova propose a scenic crossing in which the wind opens the performance and the audience is invited to feel before seeing. Anthropomorphic puppets, inflatable landscapes, and an atmosphere immersed in darkness build a visual and physical journey where life and death appear in permanent confrontation.

In this “parade,” Phia Ménard’s creation intersects with the artistic collaboration of Cécile Briand and with the alternating performances of Phia Ménard, Cécile Briand, and Fabrice Ilia Leroy. The dramaturgy is by Jonathan Drillet and the music composed by Ivan Roussel. The result is a sensory, textless performance that leads the audience through a tunnel of shadows toward the light, in a procession of figures, flags, and skeletons.
