Social Protection and Equality

The first colloquium in the cycle «Proteção social como pilar democrático: do contexto europeu à realidade nacional» focuses on the theme «Social protection and equality» and is part of the scientific publication associated with the project. The initiative is aimed at researchers, lecturers, master's and doctoral students, and legal professionals, with a call for original articles to be included in the first volume of the planned work.

The best papers may be presented at the international conference dedicated to this theme, which is part of a series of four volumes on social protection, equality, sustainability, mobility, and dignity. The proposal brings together reflection on discrimination, gender equality, public policies, access to social benefits, and case law, with scientific review.
