Breast Cancer Screening

The mobile screening units of Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro arrive in Sesimbra with digital equipment and a specialized technical team to support the early detection of breast cancer. The screening is intended for women between 45 and 74 years old and should be repeated every two years.

The action takes place in three locations in the municipality throughout the summer: Quinta do Conde, Castelo and Sesimbra, always next to reference facilities in the area. The organization is by Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro - Núcleo Regional do Sul, in partnership with the Serviço Nacional de Saúde, with support from CM Sesimbra.
