about the event

The Municipality of Barcelos once again presents the live reenactment of the Legend of the Rooster, next to the Cruzeiro do Galo, at Paço dos Condes de Barcelos. Between June and September, on the first weekend of each month, different theater companies bring to life the story of the innocent pilgrim on the Way to Santiago de Compostela, in a staging designed to bring the public closer to a striking legend of the city.
