Rossana is the alter ego of Inês Barroso. Never confining herself to conventions, the Portuguese composer based in London has gradually moved away from her classical piano training, exploring genres ranging from jazz to psy-rock, with Latin influences, Portuguese folk, and even electronic music. Even so, no matter how far she goes in her sonic explorations, she always manages to bring all these influences together into a sonic universe that is unmistakably her own. In 2024, she released her second LP, “À La Portugaise”, marking a new chapter. With roots present, but without limits, she is committed to the constant search for a universal language in music.
