Saint Bernard 2026

The 2026 Municipal Festivities celebrate the Saint Bernard Fair, dedicated to Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, patron saint of Alcobaça and central figure of the Cistercian Order. In this edition, the fair also highlights the 25th anniversary of Maçã de Alcobaça IGP, a major reference point of the municipality.

Over five days, between Rossio and Cova da Onça, the city becomes a place for gathering and celebration, with proposals that combine music, gastronomy, culture, sport, tradition, economic activities and entertainment for the whole family. The fair stands as a meeting point between generations and as a showcase of the best that is done in Alcobaça.
