Terra Crua

Terra Crua starts from the ground to rethink building with earth as a local, available and ethically viable response in a context of pressure on the planet’s limits. The exhibition brings together scientific and historical content, prototypes, case studies and collaborative experiences focused on the reuse of excavated soil from works in Lisbon, highlighting its potential as a circular resource.

Curated by Madalena Vidigal, the exhibition also proposes a reading of raw earth as material, archive and agent of contemporary architecture in Portugal, bringing together reflection and experimentation around a theme that links construction practice, sustainability and research.
