Land of Fire

At Fórum Luísa Todi, TERRA DE FOGO offers a critical reflection on forest fires and on the management of the Portuguese forest, bringing together testimonies, data and a comparative perspective with other countries in Southern Europe. The performance focuses on the story of a family deeply affected by the 2017 fires, the year when around 500,000 hectares burned and more than 100 people died. The creation is by André Amálio and Tereza Havlíčková, with performance by André Amálio, movement by Tereza Havlíčková, musical creation by Pedro Salvador and production by Hotel Europa.
