The Swimming Pool Party

In *The Swimming Pool Party*, eight characters of dubious elegance meet around a stubbornly empty swimming pool, at a party that quickly loses its shine and descends into drama and crime. The play offers an acidic look at the display of appearances and the fragilities of a certain social class.

Ricardo Neves-Neves draws on references to Agatha Christie and *The Cocktail Party*, by T. S. Eliot, to create a show full of dark humor and irony, based on a text written in 2018 and now revisited in a deliberately biting reading.
