Visita Fábrica da Eletricidade

This guided visit takes the public through the former Central Tejo, the thermal power plant built in 1908 that supplied the Lisbon region with electricity.

Along the way, several spaces of the factory are explored and original machinery pieces under conservation are observed, on an itinerary that connects the site’s industrial memory with the evolution of electricity through to renewable energy.
