Guided Visit to Camilo House-Museum

On the 2nd and 3rd floors are Camilo’s, Ana’s and the children’s bedrooms: Manuel, Jorge and Nuno; the writer’s and his wife’s studies; the kitchen; the dining room and the drawing room. These rooms display Camilian cultural items, among which the couple’s writing desks stand out, among others; drawings by Jorge, the beloved «crazy son»; the hall clock described in *Eusébio Macário*; part of Camilo’s private library; writing implements; portraits of the nuclear family members and friends; and the rocking chair in which the tragedy of the suicide took place. The Museum gallery, on the ground floor, is hosting the exhibition *Camilo: Leitores, Amores e Humores*, conceived within the scope of «Camillo – Rotas do Escritor», through which the Casa de Camilo also becomes the headquarters of this tourist and cultural project.
