World Championships 2026

After hosting the Sand Series Matosinhos in 2025, Matosinhos Beach once again enters the international beach tennis map as the venue for the ITF Beach Tennis World Championships 2026. From 7 to 13 September, the competition brings together the best beach players to compete for the world championship titles.

The event includes prize money of 100,000 dollars for the men’s and women’s doubles, and 15,000 dollars for the mixed doubles, reinforcing the competitive importance of this world championship on the Matosinhos Beach stage.
