Oficina Municipal de Teatro

Oficina Municipal do Teatro is a municipal cultural venue in Coimbra, administered and programmed by Teatrão under an agreement with the Coimbra City Council. The space serves as the company’s headquarters and hosts its own productions, performances by other artists, training activities, workshops, talks, readings and proposals in the fields of theatre, dance and music. OMT is part of the Rede de Teatros e Cineteatros Portugueses and the Rede de Teatros com Programação Acessível. Its main hall is the Sala Laborinho Lúcio, a black box with a variable configuration; Tabacaria functions as a café-concert, with a small stage and bar.
