the festival story
MEO Marés is a summer music festival promoted by PEV Entertainment. In 2026 it began a new phase in Matosinhos, with the venue announced for Praia do Aterro, by the Atlantic, and a programme running from 17 to 19 July. The municipal information on the 2026 edition describes a temporary site with five themed stages, a Ferris wheel, food service, and areas for cultural and leisure experiences; these elements belong to the event and not to permanent facilities on the beach.
