1200 Steps

*1200 Steps* is a theatrical project in the form of a walk through the parish of Santa Maria Maior, in Lisbon. Based on testimonies from people with migratory backgrounds who live and work in the parish, the proposal brings public space together with a performative reading of the stories it holds.

The piece is led by artists with a migrant background and takes the form of a performative guided tour, with several dates throughout April. The public is invited to follow this route through the parish, in sessions scheduled for 13, 20 and 27 April, always on Tuesdays.
