A PARAGEM

*A Paragem* begins with a very simple situation — a man waits indefinitely for the bus — and turns it into an open scenic experience, in which the boundary between representation and physical relation in the theatre space shifts with each performance.

The staging explores this ambivalence, leaving room for the show to come closer to a debate or to a performance, if the spectator so wishes. The scenic setup also underlines a reduced number of seats, integrated into the play’s proposal.
