ORESTEIA

ORESTEIA, by Aeschylus, takes the stage at Teatro São Luiz in a production by Bruno Bravo. The staging revisits the only tragic trilogy that has come down to us — *Agamemnon*, *The Libation Bearers* and *The Eumenides* — and follows Agamemnon’s return, Orestes’ matricide and the trial that brings the cycle of vengeance to an end.

The poetry of the work intertwines drama, choruses and dances, in a Portuguese version by José Pedro Serra.
