Concerto Margarida Magalhães Sousa

The Conservatório Regional de Ponta Delgada, under the direction of guest conductor Rita Castro Blanco, presents the Margarida Magalhães Sousa Concert, part of the Symphonic Orchestra Internship 2026. The ensemble brings together students from the conservatory’s basic and secondary courses, as well as students from other artistic education schools in the region and in the country. The program combines the Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 7, by Clara Schumann, performed by Luís Martins, and Symphony No. 1 in E minor, Op. 39, by Jean Sibelius.
