SINFONIETTA DE PONTA DELGADA and ANTONIO DI CRISTOFANO

Pianist Antonio Di Cristofano performs with the Sinfonietta of Ponta Delgada, under the direction of conductor Fernando Marinho, in a concert dedicated to two landmarks of the European repertoire. The program includes Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 54, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 in C major, K. 551, “Jupiter”. Between Schumann’s Romantic lyricism and Mozart’s Classical grandeur, the performance offers an encounter between expressiveness, virtuosity, and brilliantly crafted orchestral writing.
