Exhibition “Conversas de Silêncio” by Monteiro da Silva

The Municipal Art Gallery presents the painting exhibition "Conversas de Silêncio", by Monteiro da Silva, who was born in Barcelos. The show brings together 23 works created in different phases of his artistic career, revealing themes linked to life, the human condition and everyday life.

The selection includes works made with oil, acrylic, graphite and mixed media, and includes pieces such as "Mulheres do Mar", "Constelação", "Quimera", "Tudo e Nada", "A Vida a Correr", "Sinfonia Aquática" and "Viagem sem Tempo". The diversity of compositions and the use of color run through the exhibition, which offers the public a look at various moments in the artist's production.

The exhibition can be visited until 20 September, with free admission, during extended opening hours throughout the week and at weekends.
