Francesinha Festival

The Francesinha Festival brings to Largo José Afonso a celebration dedicated to one of the most emblematic dishes of Northern Portuguese cuisine, prepared by restaurants from Porto and presented in Setúbal as part of a new partnership for cultural and tourist promotion.

The initiative is part of a broader programme of gastronomic celebrations that begins in August with this festival and the Festival da Choco e da Ostra, and which extends the promotion of Setúbal’s flavours to other destinations in the following months. The event takes place with lunch and dinner service, in a format designed to highlight the city’s gastronomic and welcoming identity.
