During the second half of September, the island turns back in time to the arrival of Christopher Columbus in Porto Santo. In addition to music and street entertainment evoking the period, you can watch the landing of the navigator and his crew, followed by a historical parade with greater popular participation. The Columbus Festival has been gaining tourist importance.
