*Cancer in Saturn* is Joana Levi’s new creation project and closes a trilogy of performances in which colonial relations, the non-human world, biology, philosophical thought, autobiography, and astrological readings intersect.
The piece arises from research into the cellular universe and the artist’s body, in dialogue with the theories of Lynn Margulis and with reflections on the micro and the macroscopic. The performance takes place in the Main Hall of TBA - Teatro Bairro Alto, with accessibility measures noted for 6 and 7 November.
