Laguna

In *Laguna*, Sharunas Bartas follows a father and Ina Marija's younger sister on a journey to the Pacific coast of Mexico, a territory marked by absence and memory. Among mangroves, hurricanes, and a landscape in constant renewal, the film turns grief into an intimate passage made of pain, catharsis, and renewal. Premiered at the Venice Film Festival, in the Giornate degli Autori section, the film features Ina Marija Bartaité, Sharunas Bartas, and Una Marija Bartaité, and confirms the Lithuanian filmmaker's singular signature.
