Orquestra Bamba Social - Samba Circle

The Orquestra Bamba Social, a group from Porto, takes the stage with a samba circle that brings together original compositions and new interpretations of classics from Brazilian music. The repertoire reflects the band’s path, as it has been opening samba to other sonic colors, such as jazz, funk and hip-hop.

The concert is part of the celebrations for the 124th anniversary of the Theatro Gil Vicente. The group released the album *Mundo Novo* in 2022 and, more recently, *Orquestra Bamba Social revisita Moacyr Luz* (2024), a tribute to the composer and living samba legend.
