OS JUGOSLAVOS

In The Yugoslavs, by Juan Mayorga, a waiter asks a customer to speak to his wife, who is immersed in a silence that is difficult to break through. Meanwhile, she walks through the city with a map looking for “The Yugoslavs”, perhaps a bar from a country that no longer exists. Between love, sadness and hope, the play brings together two women who exchange maps and two men who exchange words, in a team effort with translation by António Gonçalves and staging by Pedro Carranca.
