I work in choreography and dance, developing a practice at the intersection of body, language, and context. I explore gesture, presence, and the relationships between performer, space, and audience through processes of original creation, collaboration, and transmission. I have presented my work in Portugal and internationally since 2006. I am part of balleteatro as an artist and associate curator, I direct URDA Cooperativa, and I hold a master's degree in choreography from the Amsterdam University of the Arts. — Jorge Gonçalves
