Prima Donna

*Prima Donna*, by Ken Ludwig, offers a fast-paced comedy built on the classic mechanisms of farce and disguise. Two young actors, fleeing their hometown, take refuge with a wealthy family and pass themselves off as women so as not to be recognized, triggering a chain of lies, mistaken identities, and romantic misunderstandings. The production is part of the V International Theatre Showcase and is presented by the company Teatrul National Satiricus Ion Luca Caragiale, from Moldova.

Direction is by Kakha Gogidze, with performances by Nadia Crîlov, Malai Roman, Eugen Matchovschi, Ira Cazac, Ion Grosu, Irina Rusu, Arcadie Răcilă and Daniel Brânză.
