Schubert's Fifth | OML
about the event
Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa presents a concert that brings together classical repertoire and contemporary creation, with soprano Ana Rosa, winner of the 13th Lyrical Singing Competition of the Fundação Rotária Portuguesa, and under the direction of maestro Krišs Russman.
The programme opens with the motet *Exsultate, jubilate*, by W. A. Mozart, written in 1773 for a castrato of great virtuosity. This is followed by a work in premiere by Krišs Russman, before the concert ends with *Symphony No. 5*, by F. Schubert, described as one of the composer's most delicate pieces, marked by serenity and affinities with Mozart's classical world.
Doors open at 20:00, the concert starts at 21:00, it is rated for ages 6 and over, and tickets cost between €15 and €25. Tickets for reduced mobility are also available through the Teatro Tivoli BBVA box office.
