Inês Apenas + Improvised Choir

Leiria-born artist Inês Apenas proposes a concert-workshop in which children, young people and adults, from 10 years old, learn a single song together and perform it at the end. In just one hour, the group is guided through the arrangements and direction of the artist herself, in a format designed to bring audiences closer to participatory artistic practices and strengthen community ties. The result follows immediately afterwards, in a performance moment that marks the opening of Ciclo à Margem.

Singer, songwriter, pianist and music teacher, Inês Apenas has a background linked to Orfeão de Leiria, Coro Ninfas do Lis and Surma's choirs at Festival da Canção. After the first singles and the debut EPs and Leve(mente), she released ÉTER in 2024, an album co-produced by herself and featuring collaborations with IRMA, MALVA, Milhanas, LEFT. and João Tordo.
