Mechita

In *Mechita*, six women share a mirrored stage and invoke the body as an archive of memory and resistance. Sol Garcia’s creation connects fragments of childhood, freedom, voice and femininity with a Roma heritage passed down through her father’s family. Music, reflections and movement build a collective composition about transformation and belonging. After Friday’s performance, there will be a conversation with the artistic team.
