Natacha Atlas

Natacha Atlas, an artist who established herself on London’s multicultural scene in the 1990s, returns to Portugal nine years after her appearance in Ciclo Mundos, at Teatro da Trindade. Her work crosses electronics, *maqams*, dub, trip-hop and more acoustic approaches, in a path that goes from *Diaspora* to *Gedida* and *Ayeshteni*. Accompanied by musicians moving between jazz improvisation and classical Arabic phraseology, she turns the concert into an intimate and expansive experience at the same time.
